Dae Ga Korea Sdn Bhd Review Recently Donkey & I, had a meal at Dae Ga Korea Sdn Bhd. We ordered the B Beef 2PAX, which came to RM148.00. We also got Makgeolli Rice Wines at RM32.00 each. The total bill came to RM198.00 after a service charge. Overall, the food was pretty good. The beef was the highlight, and the Makgeolli was a nice complement. The service was alright. Overall rating: 4/5 stars

We had a wonderful dining experience, and I especially want to commend Bea for her excellent service. She was warm, attentive, and very professional throughout our meal. Bea made sure we were comfortable, checked in on us at the right moments, and handled everything with a genuine smile. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really made a difference to our overall experience. Random choice for dinner. Ordered the family set. Very worth it. We (4 pax) almost cannot finish. Staff very attentive. The soy pork and spicy chicken nice. Kimchi stew lacking in flavour. We liked the seafood pancake most (not in photo).

As we planned our staycation in Johor Bahru, my colleague recommended this Korean BBQ. It turned out to be a great choice. The staff handled all the cooking, so we could just sit back, relax, and enjoy the meal. The food was delicious, with unlimited side dishes and ice cream. Definitely value for money.

This was our first time dining here, and we were really impressed! We ordered Set B (pork) for four, and the meat was juicy, flavorful, and well-prepared. I was too full to try the pancake, but my husband said it was delicious. Honestly, it felt more worth it than dining at a Korean BBQ place in Singapore that can cost over SGD 150. Great value for the quality!

Kitty and I stumbled upon Dae Ga Korea BBQ during a staycation in a KSL hotel, and since Kitty loves meat, we decided to give it a try. We ordered the "B Beef 2PAX" set. While we aren't sure of the specific cuts of beef included, the initial taste was delicious as everything was served sizzling hot. One unique aspect of Dae Ga is that they cook all the barbecue in the back before serving it on a hot plate. This is convenient because you don't have to worry about grilling it yourself. However, here's the catch: our hot plate station seemed to be set on low heat (or not even turned on!), so the meat and other dishes quickly cooled down and lost that initial "sizzling hot" appeal. That was a bit disappointing. The Makgeolli (rice wine) was the standard bottled variety, which is always a pleasant experience. On the positive side, the ambiance was nice and cooling, and the service was excellent. They have a free flow of traditional Korean side dishes, and the servers were always smiling and attentive, happily refilling our dishes whenever we asked. And of course, the prices in Ringgit Malaysia are definitely more affordable compared to Singapore! Overall, Dae Ga Korea BBQ offers a convenient and tasty Korean BBQ experience, but the lack of sustained heat on the hot plate is a drawback. Pros: - Convenient – all the BBQ is cooked for you - Good service and attentive staff - Free flow of Korean side dishes (banchan) - Affordable prices - Nice and cooling ambiance Cons: - Meat and dishes quickly cool down on the hot plate - Lack of control over cooking process (since it's all done in the back) Tips: - Expect the food to cool down relatively quickly after being served

A hidden jam below holiday villa hotel ! Portion was alright for 2 pax , kbbq set costs us about 140rm (169rm with service charge). The staff will grill the meat for you. 9 free side banchans were included. truly an underrated kbbq spot!

Food is not too bad. Free flow side dishes and ice cream too. Service is superb because of a very attentive staff. Will definitely hire her if I have a restaurant.
